'Home buyers' protest may affect Noida's law & order'

NOIDA: Noida's local intelligence unit has given report that home buyers protest may result into major law and order problem in Noida and Greater Noida. In this regard, police have written to district magistrate to take necessary steps to avoid any untoward incidents.
TOI has accessed a copy of LIU (local intelligence unit) report, which flagged that the protest by a large number of home buyers could lead to any major law and order problem. "Several people are participating in the protests against developers. Keeping this in mind, there is a need to initiate immediate action before it turns violent," the report cites. "Protests are against Amrapali, Jaypee, Earth, Era, Ajnara, Bhasin, Supertech etc. So there is a need to organize peaceful meetings between developers and home buyers," the report added.
In the report, Noida and Greater Noida industrial development authorities have also been blamed. “No concrete action has been taken by the authorities to settle the issue,” it further cites.
